Very clean, everyone is very friendly. The food there is good. They invite the guest to a dinner with the family and we learnt how to cook and shared a good moment. They have bike and scooter to rent. A place to relax definitely.

Great location, short walking distance to almost everything. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was super good! And the receptionist was very friendly.

Very accommodating staff who let us check in at 4am after an overnight bus ride (with additional 50% fee). Host sent a video showing us how to check in on our own and we really enjoyed being able to go straight to sleep upon arrival. Very friendly family runs this place, and we enjoyed being around them. All smiles, all day. The pool is excellent. They take excellent care of the pool and garden, and it shows. Their bikes allowed us to get into the heart of tam coc in minutes - fun and free. Very satisfying breakfast. The best part is, the family is working on adding a building to the property which will mean more guests can enjoy.

Amazing property. Super big room, very clean, comfortable bed, amazing & very helpful staff. A bit outside of the extremely busy center area, close to rice fields with a calm environment. Would always come back, loved my stay here.

The highlight? The view from the back onto the rice paddies — absolutely peaceful. Our room was large and immaculate, and the owner went above and beyond from the very first moment. She even handed us a scooter while we waited for check-in, which gave us an unexpected and brilliant introduction to Ninh Binh.

I really enjoyed my stay, the family is lovely and the pool is fresh for the hot days. The location is great, you have a nice view of the mountains and a bit more quiet than the center. Be aware the road is a bit dark, and narrow at times, so I opted for renting a bike every day which was 50K the time I visited. Honestly take the bike to the main attractions, I even cycled to Tran An. It is fun and great views.

The owner is very cute and accommodated all our requests. She welcomed us with fresh ginger tea upon arrival and explained in detail how to explore the area in the time we had available. Simple bikes (1 gear) are available for rent, they do the job as the area is flat.

Our stay at the Indochine Hotel in Ninh Binh was absolutely amazing! The staff and the family that run this beautiful hotel really went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. I have booked a stay at Indochine again in June as my parents will be arriving and i cannot think of a better location and such a beautiful hotel with an added bonus of the staff, always ready to assist you in any way!

As other reviewers have mentioned, what blew us away was the friendliness shown by Ms Hoa and her willingness to go above and beyond to help us feel welcome. Heartfelt Hideaway is located just outside of Tam Coc, but within walking distance to the center (10 minute walk) and you have fields and mountains less than two minutes away from Heartfelt Hideaway. Ms Hoa helped arrange everything from rental of scooter to suggestions of places to dine and even went to the local marked for specialities. The room was simple but clean and had all the necessities needed. I would also like to highlight that Ms Hoa has excellent english and there was no problems with commutation in any way. Thanks for a great stay and breakfast. Loved the salty coffee :) Kim and Huong.

Wonderful place with a great view and a cozy, comfortable room. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was included, thought very basic.

The service was excellent. They were very kind, helpful in getting us transportation and accommodating in all our requests. Such as getting us scooters and doing our laundry - all at reasonable prices. Breakfasts were delicious and made when it suited us. The location was far enough away from the main drag so that it was quiet, but also close enough to the central area to walk back and forth with ease.

Everything at the Nan house was delightful. Perfectly well run!

The staff were amazing and sorted us out with a very affordable price for transport to Hanoi. The breakfast was nice and included in the price. The location is great, close to cafes, bars and restaurants. If you like walking it's close enough to the Mua caves & Bich Dong. The room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and decent size bathroom with hot shower.
