Big high five to the Mimosa Guest House in Makhanda, my base of operations (along with a herd of cows outside) during the RU120 visit to Makhanda. Very comfortable historic home in a lush garden setting with inviting charcoal pool. Temperatures required regular immersions and poolside lounging. Woke up to the caterwauling of the Hadada Ibis in the trees each morning. Enjoyed meals at Major Fraser's across the street from Drostdy Arch. They have superb pizzas that are wood-fired oven-cooked.

Mountain View is located in Grahamstown, just 25 miles from Lalibela Private Game Reserve and 1.8 miles from St Michael and St George Cathedral.
