The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were excellent and so were the pillows. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was brilliant. We also had dinner and that was lovely. Our main reason for staying over was to play golf and a halfway house on route to Umhlanga

We had a delightful room with our own fireplace. Pefectly stocked each day with firewood, kindling and starter Lovely rusks with tea / coffee. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. A HUGE thank you to Clinton, Gail and the whole Halliwell team. Host was lovely and very helpful with checkin and things to do in the area. The bedroom was amazing, very clean and quaint and had all amenities. The property is also next to Piggly Wiggly, a beautiful place for food and chocolate. For those interested in Parkruns, there is one on Saturdays starting at Piggly Wiggly and going through the wine estate. Overall we loved this stay!

The pictures are great and all but the actual place was incredibly more than I imagined. We arrived just around sunset and the grounds were awash in stunning color. The cottage is beautiful. We took walks on the grounds and just immersed ourselves in the space. This among the best ways to experience South Africa's famous Midlands Meander. Nokuzola and Giovanni have curated something really special. It is clear that every detail was well though of. Thank you.
