Cozy cool little hotel in an excellent location.

Location was great! Employees/staff were pleasant helpful and kind Breakfast was exceptional!

Everything was clean and so well thought out. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasurable stay. Would 100% come back

What a lovely cottage, couldn't fault a thing. Very peaceful with lovely views over the garden and field with horses in. Great attention to detail, we appreciated the bottle of milk left in the fridge too. Great location with the bus stop only a 5 minute walk and the train station just a 10 minute walk. Enjoyed a wonderful meal locally which was just over a mile away. We liked it so much, we intend to go back next year

Great location on the edge of the forest. Bathroom and Kitchen was of a high standard, Beds very comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

Cosy home, had all the amenities necessary, beds were comfy and it was quiet despite being on a main road.

Lovely cottage perched right on the edge of the heath. Great base to explore the new forest. There's a nice community store a 3 minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

I came to Brockenhurst with the hope of cycling the New Forest and some areas of interest on the south coast near Bournemouth. The Apothecary and especially the kind guidance of Rod, the owner, made this an extremely memorable 10 days. The cottage is so comfortable and well equipped; I loved coming "home" at the end of each day. And location, wow! I got up most mornings and walked to the nearby Brockenhurst rail station, where I rented an e-bike from the terrific CycleExperience and rode for miles on old forestry paths. Wonderful! Some days I took the very convenient direct train from Brockenhurst station into London for a concert. This location is far enough from London where you don't get that "communter town" feel, yet close enough where you can get "home" after an evening event. For such a small village, there are a number of terrific amenities -- restaurants, bakeries, grocers, butchers, coffee shops, etc. -- within easy walking distance. I love my time at the Apothecary and was dismayed to see that it's already booked for the week in July when my American friends are coming over. It would have been PERFECT for them. Ah well.
