The house was fine. The thermostat was automatic and had the house warm when we arrived, which was nice. The rooms were all a decent size and the furniture was pretty comfortable throughout the house. Plenty of seating. The fridge was pretty big, which was great and the kitchen had basic coffee/tea and spices, I'm assuming other guests had left - didn't have any washing up liquid or tea towels/kitchen roll. The kitchen had all the utensils you could possibly want to use and quite a large choice of pots/pans/plates and dishes.
