There was everything we needed. It was good to have bowels, plates, glasses and cutlery supplied also handy to have a fridge. It was also nice to have seating outside in the garden for use in good weather.

The garden furniture was comfortable. I was positively surprised with the size of the fridge/freezer. The internet connection was good as well.

Lydia went above and beyond to make our stay so perfect, allowing us to check in slightly earlier and slightly later and also leaving a birthday card and gift which was very unexpected and ever so kind. The cottage itself was spotless and very cosy. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Parking was no problem, and such a convenient location. The little touches really make a house a home, and we all really did feel at home here. Not always an easy thing to achieve, but this place was just perfect. Thanks again Lydia for your kindness.

The layout of this cottage was superb - especially for my elderly mother who has mobility challenges. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious - especially the tubs! The remote charm of this cottage was further enhanced by the whole village, including the friendly proprietor and locals at the nearby pub, plus an excellent mobile coffee wagon we discovered near the common. Perfect for a quiet weekend away in the country.
