The Lighthouse Retreat is located at the end of Seaview Avenue in West Mersea Holiday Park, a stones throw from West Mersea Beach. A spacious and comfortable holiday villa, in a quiet holiday park, sleeps 4-6 persons. 1 larger double bedroom, a smaller twin bedroom, and a sofa bed. Features its own garden area, garden furniture (can be located to rear of property) BBQ, shower and toilet facilities, with dedicated parking. Located right next to the waterfront you are in an ideal position to spend days on the beach, explore Mersea, and head out to the local restaurants, cafes, and pubs. Well behaved pets welcome, but not on furniture please.

West Mersea is a picturesque island found in between the river Blackwater and river Colne estuaries, located in the countryside to the south of the historic roman town of Colchester. Accessible via The Strood Causeway which floods at high spring tides, Mersea Island feels like an adventure the moment you arrive. With beautiful beaches, a good choice of restaurants, pubs, and cafes there is a vibrant coastal community surrounding the local boat yards, sailing clubs, water sports and lifeboat station. Free parking space at the accommodation. There are also car parks located near the beaches, and some unrestricted road parking if you come away from the coastal roads. Regular bus service from Colchester to West Mersea.
