Everything was excellent. We appreciated the proximity to nature and the beach, while the children loved the pool and the company of the very friendly dog that resides there.

Friendliness and hospitality by the family that runs the business. Mr Tasos was always there to assist with anything we needed guidance on. Last, our room was super clean (and got cleaned every single day, while we were off exploring nearby beaches or sights), but also well equipped to cover the needs of a family of four. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the region of Gytheio.

A fantastic location, very stylish and well equipped, in a wonderful and quiet village, yet very close to the main attractions around the Mani peninsula. Iorgos, the owner, is also extremely helpful with everything you need. Will definitely visit again!

Every detail was thought through with Malvazios. This villa is beyond large with amazing views, it was perfect for my family. The pool was so elegant and Tazos the owner was beyond helpful with anything we needed. We will be coming here again next year, so happy we found this magical place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Athina. Our family of five, including two kids sharing a bedroom, felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The host has truly thought of everything—there wasn’t a single thing we needed that wasn’t already taken care of. The villa itself was spotless and felt more like a five-star hotel than a rental. The beds were extremely comfortable, with fantastic linens, plenty of pillows, and even bathrobes thoughtfully placed on the beds. Every detail was considered: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, plush towels for both the beach and the house, and so much more. It was clear that the host put great care into making guests feel both comfortable and pampered. A thoughtful welcome included fresh oranges from the owner’s grove, homemade olive oil (which we used for breakfast every morning), fresh bread, and even a bottle of wine. The laundry on-site was a big plus for a family traveling with kids. The property is in a quiet area yet perfectly located—just a short drive to Gytheio, Areopoli, beautiful beaches, and with a supermarket and gas station only a minute away by car. The owner was present on the property during our stay, which we actually found reassuring—though we never needed to ask for anything since it was all so perfectly arranged. It gave us peace of mind knowing help was right there if needed. We left feeling rested, cared for, and deeply appreciative. This villa is an ideal place for families or anyone seeking a quiet, clean, well manicured, and exceptionally well-appointed home base. We would highly recommend it and look forward to returning again!

I recently stayed at this wonderful traditional Greek house, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled right next to the beach, the location offers a perfect blend of nature and tranquility. The surroundings are lush with greenery, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The house itself is beautifully maintained, capturing the essence of traditional Greek architecture and charm. It provides all the comforts needed for a cozy stay, making you feel right at home. For food lovers, there are excellent restaurants serving both delicious meat and fresh fish. Having a car is recommended to fully explore and enjoy the local culinary delights. The owners are incredibly kind and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Their helpfulness and warmth truly made a difference, making us feel like part of their family. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway with a touch of traditional Greek culture and fantastic hospitality.

The property was very easy to find. The dirt track is easily negotiated with care. The result is you have peace and quiet in an olive grove on a hill with lovely views to the sea, Taygetos Mountains and surrounding olive groves. It is simply furnished, which I liked but has all the facilities guests’ need. There’s a very good supermarket five minutes’ drive away and just a few more minutes takes you into Gytheio. I enjoyed being off the beaten track surrounded by the sounds of nature. The owners were very considerate and kind. I really enjoyed all the tasty snacks I was given and really appreciated having olives from their trees and wonderful olive oil they have produced. One big advantage was that most of the time there was a breeze blowing up on the hill, which in the middle of summer was a blessing! It was so wonderful to sit out on the terrace watching the sunset - the colours were spectacular. I have spent my holidays on the other side of the Taygetos for 15 years so this was a big chance and I loved it. I really felt rejuvenated after two weeks at Mani Hill House and I hope to go again. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy seclusion although the owners are close by if you need anything at all. Thank you.
