Wow! This property looked stunning in the photos, but it is even better in person. So clean, and comfortable. All of us had beautiful rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The location is amazing. The property has stunning views of the ocean from every room. It’s sits elevated on a hill, so the ocean breezes are wonderful. You feel so secluded, yet there is a gate at the bottom of the property that is steps from restaurants, surfing, all the activities. And the staff, we cannot say enough about how wonderful and accommodating they are. They arranged activities for us (at good competitive prices), and you have a chef on the property with a team who cooks you a beautiful breakfast, and any other meals you want at such a reasonable price. We had so many tasty dinners here. The chef went out of his way to make us a whole fish dinner with prawns, etc. Amazing, delicious meals. Also, we Loved having a pool, we used it daily.

Where to start – we were blown away immediately by how beautiful the property is – the pictures represent it well but don’t do it justice. The staff were amazing. We didn’t realise that when you take the whole villa, you get the whole stuff looking after you – we thought we were just renting a space. The manager and staff were all so kind and helpful-they couldn’t do enough for us arranging activities and providing lovely food as required. Five star in every single way! We loved it- especially Ginger the resident puppy.

This villa was perfect for us. We were a group of 8 and had the entire villa to ourselves. The villa is large, clean and comfortable and Dulash was available to help with any questions. The garden is surrounded by trees and it was a joy to sit on the balcony in the morning, watching the sunrise listening to the birds and watching the monkeys We loved the location ~ it is a short walk to a large quiet beach with a bar/restaurant, and to a popular surfing beach with Secret beach between the 2. There is a good simple restaurant {Aroma seafood} on the way to the beach with a small shop next door where you buy beer. Aga Surf restaurant does really good coffee.Tuk tuks nearby if you want to venture further afield. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to come back .

I had the pleasure of staying at Thara in Villa in my recently visit in Sri Lanka. I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service I received. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my comfort made my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel itself was a haven of nature lushed greenery and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The food experience at the hotel was equally delightful. The diverse menu showcased the rich flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, as well as international favorites.

Great spot in Tangalle, run by a loving family, that’s only a few minutes motorbike or tuk-tuk ride from the nearby beaches, restaurants, supermarkets or bus station. Comfy bed, strong A/C, a good working kitchen, and a fantastic balcony to watch the peacocks, chipmunks and other animals do their daily routines in the garden or by the lake that’s just across the street. Most mornings the family would share any extra breakfast offerings with me, which were always delicious and cooked with care.

We had a great stay at Sunbeam Villa. The hosts were wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable with AC and hot water. The wifi worked perfectly for online work.

Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. The garden and pool area are really stunning and beach is just 1 min away from our location. The villa was kept clean and breakfast delicious every morning. The owners, Shashi and his wife, welcomed us warmly and they were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. So I would highly recommend 701 Mawella villa anyone looking for beautiful and comfortable gateway.

Sisi Place is the definition of a hidden gem. Harshani and her family have built a wonderful guest house and garden with so many comfortable amenities and thoughtful details. Everything is exceptionally clean. There‘s lots of storage room, various sitting areas, a large stylish bathroom, an outdoor shower… it‘s quiet and serene, but you still have easy access to buses and tuktuks to move around. I also got breakfast and dinner every day, and those were easily amongst the best Sri Lankan meals I had. Harshani is a fantastic host and cook! The beach is just steps away, and you end up right at the good spot for surf and swimming. A good surf school and board rental is available too. I can‘t wait to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Green House Mawella! Everything is made to make you forget about the outside madness. The villa is well equipped with everything you need. It is spacious and the pool is awesome and clean. The outside bathroom are clean and the solar hot water is definitely a plus. Having the sea just hundred meters away makes it a dream. Rasitha is managing the property very well and is a delight to communicate with.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Harbor Moon Hiriketiya during my travels in Sri Lanka. The property is incredibly spacious, offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. It's location is perfect just a short distance from both Hiriketiya Beach and Blue Beach, making it ideal for anyone looking to enjoy some of the most beautiful areas nearby. The hotel itself is truly luxurious with a modern design that immediately makes you feel at ease. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and the attention to detail really stands out. All facilities are available and well maintained ensuring a convenient and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The home made breakfast was simply superb. fresh, delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Overall, this is easily one of the best places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka.
