A Charming Colonial Stay with Modern Comforts This restored colonial property offers an authentic and charming atmosphere with a perfect blend of history and modern comforts such as multi-plug adapters, both bed and overhead lighting and mosquito nets. The rooms are quiet and feature comfortable beds and newly renovated bathrooms—even better than what’s shown in the current photos on Booking. The WiFi was reliable in my room, allowing me to work and stream video without any issues. The outdoor seating areas are lovely, providing a peaceful space to relax. A highlight of my stay was the incredible Sri Lankan-style omelette—the best I’ve had in over two weeks of traveling here! Beyond the setting, the staff were exceptionally warm, kind, and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I was genuinely sad to leave and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

The house is very nice and in a private location that is peaceful and calm. His family greeted us upon arrival and were very kind and accommodating. The house is gorgeous inside and out and we loved being able to wake up there each day. It is only about an 8 minute drive to the beach but having our scooter was convenient. Cozy and truly something out of Pinterest! Definitely check it out if you’re in the Weligama area!

Phenomenal. Cozy and clean. Warm shower, AC, mosquito net, WiFi, universal sockets, a fridge (!), and a very large, delicious breakfast included. I love that it’s actually built on real trees with no pillars, and it really feels like you’re in the jungle.

Amazing place, comfortable and good location. Staff was very helpful, even helping us to arrange a whale watching expedition. Food was really good (breakfast). The private pool was great.

We didn’t stay at The Six but ended up at the sister property SOL HOUSE which was beautiful. Asela was so helpful at sorting everything out, arranging vans for travel and cars for even much later in our trip.

Beautiful villa. Absolutely huge. Three separate living rooms spread across three floors. Comfortable beds. Nice couches. Good ACs.

Excellent property, didn’t realize it was a 3 bedroom place when I booked, so even greater value for the price! The owner was exceptionally nice and making everything so convenient. Location is perfect, near one of the best beaches in weligama, and just a 7 min tuk tuk from town

Nice, centrally located place in Weligama. Close to the beach, restaurants, markets, and both the bus and train station. The host is very kind, and the space is clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooks a beautiful garden and offers a lovely sunset view. I would definitely stay here again. Istuti!
