Great country setting, wonderful fire place to enjoy in the evening, beautiful garden, convenient washer, cozy sofa, generous food provided and wonderful tips and recommendations provided by Ricardo.

Gorgeous location with sweeping views of the sea. Lovely breakfast and cozy room with a wood burning stove. We stayed in several locations during our visit to Sao Miguel and this was definitely our favorite. Never stayed anywhere quite like it.

Lovely stay in Nordeste. Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the bedroom window.

We had an excellent 3-night stay at the guesthouse. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom and good shower. Comfy bed. Good heatpump-style room heaters that worked well and were easy to control. Big and well equipped kitchen. The location for exploring the northeast corner of the island is exceptional (our favorite part of Sao Miguel). Very nice electronically gated parking. Highly recommended.

Accommodations were extremely clean. The layout and furnishing were thoughtful, and the host was extremely accommodating.

We stayed at Casa Borda da Rocha during our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. The house has a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean, and the interior is even more spacious than it appears in the photos. Everything was spotlessly clean — far beyond what you normally expect from a rental home. The check‑in process and communication were smooth and easy, and the house is equipped with everything needed for both short and long stays. There is also convenient parking close to the property. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place. It made our honeymoon truly special.

A beautiful, peaceful location and a wonderfully arranged house!

The owner was kind enough to get some bread, milk, cheese and yogurt for me and my family because he was afraid we would arrive after the local shop closed, which we really appreciated. There is a breakfast table both in the front and in the rear garden. The house is quite far from everything, which is exactly the point! We loved the quiet neighborhood!

This property is beautiful. Clean, well equips, a lovely gift basket, recommendations for activities and restaurants. Wine and coffee to purchase on site. It was everything we needed and more. The gardens are beautiful and the views are breathtaking.

very big apartment with 2 sleeping rooms, large kitchen/dining area and big garden. nice view of the sea and north coast. weather was too bad to enjoy the whole place and swimming pool.
