Cottages in São Mateus

We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely home, and we especially appreciated the warm welcome and helpfulness shown to us by Maria when we were experiencing travel delays. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and the staff was very helpful and made us feel comfortable.

Lovely home in great location/neighborhood. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Large kitchen with all necessities to cook. Secure parking. Host was attentive and friendly.

We came to Terceira for the San Joaninas festa. This location was perfect. Very close to the Alto das Covas where the festas start. Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with during our stay.

Perfect location in Angra! Very clean and comfortable. The welcome cake was very nice. A farewell cake slice arrived on the last evening. The host was very polite. The single window in the door provided adequate light. Lots of towels included. A great find. The nearby “Captain’s Table” restaurant is outstanding. No breakfast is included, many choices close by.

Our detached villa was wonderfully open-air with a sweeping ocean view . The neighborhood is peaceful and a short drive from Angra. The grounds are attractive and well-maintained. We had complete privacy but Henry was available for any help we needed. He greeted us as 130 am in person and we found cheese , bread and jam waiting for us. The villa was a delight to wake up in and return to after a day of exploring. There was a parking spot for us as well. Listen to Henry’s recommendations! He knows all!
