Great location in the nature, close to Tsistsikamma park (10 min by car). The staff was very kind, he allowed us to make a late check in (even though with an extra fee) and explained everything about the activities in the park.
The cabin is nice and cozy, there is everything you need to cook your meal.

Situated at the end of a road it is very quiet and peaceful. We received a very warm welcome and the host showed us around the cottage and the property. They have a beautiful garden and you have amazing views. The cottage was very cozy and was well equipped. We had a warm shower and the blankets kept us very warm during the night. The hosts even helped us getting the heater started in the living room and made sure we had everything we need.

The cabin is in lovely farm like surroundings. When we arrived it was freezing cold outside but the inside fireplace quickly warmed the entire cabin. We loved the hot tub, barbeque area, decorations and appliances. Attention to detail, we had everything we needed, we loved our one night stay and will definitely be back.
Lize, our hostess went out of her way to supply us with important personals that we forgot to bring.

Our one-night stay at Elize Cottage was a delightful escape. Nestled in a picturesque Stilbaai, this cozy retreat exceeded our expectations.
Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the owners who ensured we felt at home. The cottage was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, with comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen perfect for our needs.
The location was ideal. Overall, Elize Cottage provided a perfect blend of comfort and hospitality. We look forward to returning for another stay.

Perfect location situated close to the George Botanical Gardens with beautiful views of the mountain. The cottage is very cosy and equipped with all amenities and ideal for a quick getaway trip. My family loved their stay here and look forward to booking here again.

We loved the earthy, close to nature, peace and quiet. And the view!
The house have everything you need with extra blankets.
Inside the house was spotless clean, not even a spiderweb to see. Lovely warm shower and comfy beds.
The fireplace was a winner - warm and cozy in the comfortable sofas! !
Gill is such a lovely & kind lady. She welcomed us on arrival and we have the most beautiful Proteas welcoming us at the house.
Will recommend to everybody.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in the Glory Dawn cottage. The cottage was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The views are amazing. I would definately recommend Forest Valley Cottages to anyone for a romantic getaway.

Lots of options to keep warm during cold nights. Wood fireplace a bonus. Back up for loadshedding. Did not use, but nice to have canoe and hot tub. Wifi was good. Clear responsive communication.
