The location is ideal. Very good breakfast and excellent service.

The super wonderful staff (hi Ivy and Min). Everything else was perfect too. Location, can't be better, rooms awesome and the breakfast WOW.

The rooms were huge and the giant bed was rather comfortable. It was nice enough and clean enough for the low price point. We enjoyed being a 10 minute walk from the busy old town but also still on a Main Street with lots of restaurants, cafes, gyms, etc.

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff in particularly were amazing - friendly, welcoming and always ready to assist with anything you needed. Surprised me with a cake on my birthday which was very kind. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Buffet breakfast with freshly cooked eggs or noodle soup also available. A few minutes’ walk to the old town and about 15 to the Hoi An Memories show. And you can pay by card without a fee. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and well designed

The location is one of its biggest strengths. Tucked along a quiet, lantern-lit street just steps from Hoi An Market and the Thu Bon River, the guesthouse is close to everything — cafés, spas, tailors, food stalls, night markets, and the Ancient Town itself. It’s central without being chaotic, which I appreciated. You get the convenience of Old Town, but you can still retreat to somewhere calm. The entrance is pure Hoi An charm. Instead of a typical hotel front, you arrive at Hot Chili, a bright yellow shophouse. To reach the residence, you literally walk through the clothing shop. A doorway then opens into a quiet courtyard walkway lined with tropical plants, patterned tiles, and blue shutters. If you enjoy places with little surprises, this hidden entryway adds to the charm. The heart of this guesthouse is its people. Even though I didn’t meet the owners, Thuy and Qui, their team — especially Ms Vy and Ms Huy — left a strong impression. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring in a way that reminded me of staying with relatives. Service feels personal, never transactional. A special shout-out to Ms Huy, who cleaned my room each morning with impressive attention to detail. Although the room doesn’t have a window, the wooden terrace doors open directly onto the courtyard dining area. The laundry service (VND35,000/kg) is extremely convenient. Clothes dropped off in the morning came back clean and dry by afternoon — ideal for longer stays.

Great stay, totally recommended. Helen, the owner, was beyond nice, helpful and full of great tips to give me. She made me feel at home. Although the hotel is technically outside the old quarter, it's just minutes walk from the centre and main attractions. Would totally recommend staying here!
