Super nice staff and very nicely decorated hotel. We chose the apartment first but the hotel allowed us to choose again when we arrived as there was an issue with the TV in the apartment and we decided to go for the hotel room instead which was super comfortable.

I broke my ankle a few weeks before my trip to Cape Town. The Mount Nelson graciously offered a room that would work for me and my knee scooter and my 2 sisters. Our room was wonderful. The staff could not have been more helpful. The grounds and the hotel are lovely. The service was A+ and don't miss high tea. We were so enamored with the Mt Nelson we stayed there again on our return from our safari. Nothing but praise.
