I like the staff in reception,in the breakfast area expecialy ANNA she was to kind and helpful and she brought me turkey sausage every day, because I don't eat pork.I never has meet such an exelent women🥰 and the receptionists and the barman in the swimming pool they were very kind and helpful and also The cleaners were kind and the room was cleaned every day

We had a wonderful stay, thank you again for the lovely upgrade — it truly made our anniversary extra special! The breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially enjoyed on the 7th floor rooftop bar, where the breathtaking view of Mount Etna made every morning unforgettable. The location is perfect — close to everything yet peaceful, with that authentic Catania charm. And the room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered a stunning view — we couldn't have asked for more. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Hotel is super clean and rooms are very spacious. Personnel are very friendly!

The hotel is perfectly situated, near everything you need. There is a private parking but better to order in advance cause there are only 4 places. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful! The room was huge, clean and with a nice ceiling paintings. Highly recommended.

The personnel's attention is excellent, from the reception to the breakfast room. The included breakfast was very good. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was modern and quiet one. The hotel has nice open areas and patios. The room was comfortable and the bathroom has toiletries that other hotels don't provide as slippers. It was a nice surprise to have selected it. I took it for the convenient location at walking distance to the train station and to the bus going to the Etna.

As a person travelling almost constantly for over 15 years, I seldom enter a hostel where comfort was chosen over making (a little) more money and this is certainly the case in Urban Pop. Instead of adding more beds, they opted to leave the dorms very spacious and include small seating areas in each. Similarly, all bathrooms are enormous and constantly cleaned. If you add a great location, very well-equipped kitchen, nice common areas and managers (supported by a group of volunteers) who love the island and serve as endless sources of information on things to do, it’s hard to imagine a better place. Due to further travel plans, I could not stay in Sicily longer but will absolutely go back again and have no doubts where to stay.

Functional. Super clean room albeit very spare no frills. The best things were: close location to airport, convenience in availability, fair price, easy parking, English speaking reception.

Great facility, newly refurbished, clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Aurora and Claudia. Breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared eggs and more. We were upgraded to a large suite - wonderful!

We enjoyed the beach as its was not packed with peoole and felt like our own little haven, the service was always quick and efficient which was nice and the pool was good

Everything was perfect! The room was spacious and clean, there was a kitchen and really cute terrace at the top floor where you can spend sunny days or hot evenings. But what was the best was our host Luca - he was so kind and always helpful. Luca provided us many tips on great restaurants, bars and sightseeing in Catania and also suggested to help us organize some trips to Etna, Taormina and all the places we wanted to visit. Thank you, Luca! Hope to see you soon again!

Amazing hotel hidden away in an old building but stunning when you walk in to lobby. Big Rooms with comfy beds and balcony on to main street but still quiet. Staff were very helpful & nice.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. We received good tips regarding what to visit and where to eat. Car parking was easy and safe. Rooms are tasteful and nicely decorated. We appreciated the helpful communication and the nice breakfast. We would happily come back.

Fantastic location just steps to everything in Catania. It’s a recently renovated part of a palazzo and the entrance is inside the palazzo courtyard so very cool. Each room is unique. Modern feeling but kept all the architecture so truly unique experience and very memorable. Comfortable bed and the welcome local snack on arrival was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is amazing with homemade options. Host is celiac so very easy and safe to accommodate dietary. We did a winery and volcano tour with her since she’s a certified guide and it was a highlight of our visit.

The facility was extremely clean and a short distance from the historic district. We'd like that it was Modern extremely updated. Even had a towel warmer rack in the bathroom. Full kitchen which we did not need well at a very reasonable price
