- Stunning view over Lake Garda, right on the upper side of a vertical cliff (several hundred meters of estimated height) - Historic village of Tremosine - Silence, nature around - Rich breakfast with local specialties (e.g. cured Tremalzo cheese nuggets) - Friendly and helpful staff - They even had an elevator in this historic building - Flourishing and scenting orange or lemon tree pot plants - The scent of blossoms at the reception - The three minute footwalk from the parking to the hotel in the pedestrian area was absolutely worth it.

View of the Tremosine villages on the slope of the mountains, small supermarket and pizzeria within 50 m walking distance, modern apartment, fantastic bathroom, well equiped kitchen, fans provided (as it was exceptionally hot in the area - 35 C - in the week we arrived). Really very nice hosts always willing to help. My children said the wifi was pretty reliable.

We were pleasantly surprised when we took a drive from the base of Limone up into the mountains, to find this gorgeous, hidden jewel. Upon arrival we were greeted by Paolo, the owner and the chef of the adorable restaurant below the apartments. We loved the chalet style building, which housed three well-equipped, good-sized apartments. Our host Paolo, wearing his chef’s whites, made our arrival even more special when he arrived at our apartment, with a bottle of Spumante and freshly made bruschette. Paolo is known in the region as an extraordinary chef, and we were lucky enough to choose his Agriturismo Val D’egoi and sample his many culinary delights. The ingredients for his mouth-watering menu are sourced from local farmers and are super fresh. Dinner at his restaurant was nothing less than spectacular, from the complementary antipasti, to the best eggplant parmigiana ever and all plates were complemented with an amazing wine list. Paolo and his staff were attentive, personable, and fun! The 15 minute drive from the town of Limone was well worth it. Not only can you enjoy the beauty of the lake, but you have the added bonus of being in the gorgeous alps , surrounded by quaint, neighboring villages.
