Incredible design. Beautiful brutalist architecture. stunning rooftop views, pools, details throughout. In the center of Punta Zicatela. Food, drinks, amenities all felt luxurious. The staff, Lorenza, Patrick and Manuel went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I lost my phone at one point in town and Manuel jumped in to help immediately. Warm bunch of people, will definitely come back here again soon. The space is even more impressive than the photos ✨

Hotel is beautiful, staff is very friendly. The beach is literally at the foot of the door. The food/bar stand is very convenient and everything we had was delicious.

The location was fantastic, just a few blocks from the beach and the main party area, but still very quiet and felt extremely safe. The beds were huge and super comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are super spacious, my group was 4 people and we all had plenty of room for our things. Everything was extremely clean and the staff were incredibly kind. I have zero complaints about this place, it was perfect.

Excellent stay at Casa Mava. Fernando and Luis are extremely attentive and eager to accommodate one's requests. The hotel is extremely well located, in a quiet area with good restaurants nearby (to make up for the fact that the hotel does not provide any food services). Very close to the beach (a 3 minute walk) and also a 10-15 minute walk away from Punta Zicatela where more restaurants, bars and shops are located. Fernando welcomes you with detailed orientations regarding how to move in Puerto Escondido, what to do and his recommended spots. The hotel pool is delightful and comfortable with a small living area to rest and enjoy a sunny afternoon. My room was in excellent condition, it included a private swimming pool which I enjoyed very much. Decorations were very tasteful and allowed for a very pleasant rest. The shower is amazing, very illuminated and great water pressure, feels like showering outdoors. I also enjoyed very much the complimentary toiletries from Vervan, excellent choice. If you wish to cook, the room has a fully-equipped kitchen. The room has its own private wi-fi which is ultra convenient if you have to devote a couple of hours to working remotely as I had to. Definitely will come back and highly recommend!

This is my second time staying at Mangal Suites on my solo escape from Canadian winter. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home away from home. It is secure and located off a main street in a quiet neighborhood, about an 8min walk to the beach. You can easily access the main highway and hop on the collectivo into town. Daniel and Kelly are excellent hosts and care for their guests.

The place was awesome, food was delicious, different breakfast every day, staff was so kind, aircon was cold, room was modern, great location close to the street. Thoughtful great hotel.

Unbeatable location. Small little hotel so even if it's full it doesn't feel that way. A/c, fan, cold water, hammocks, kitchen, what else do you want?

i loved that the property is brand new and it sparkles . The bed was very comfortable and they have hot water. The cleaning lady was very sweet and efficient. I sat on the balcony most days and worked from my laptop . Thank you for providing an out door table and chairs.

The casa is well located right near playa Zicatela, close to La Punta and not far from centro. It is comfortable and well decorated, it feels like home. Sarah and her dad are awesome hosts. We hope to be back some day.

Such a relaxed vibe. Location was amazing, close enough to the centre to walk but was super peaceful. Loved the activities, plenty to do each week and a great way to meet people but no pressure if you have other plans. WiFi was great and worked all throughout the property. Despite there being a tropical storm during my stay it was one of my favourite trips to Puerto - thanks Britt, Kenny and Lina!

1. Manager is very responsive. Makes everything better! 2. Nice kitchen, air conditioning and fan on the ceiling in both living room and bedroom. Cozy at the same time spacious. 3. Cute roof top with beautiful views of the sea and the countless mango trees. We spotted whales jumping for joy many times on the roof top in the mornings. Watched beautiful sunset at night.
