Great location and charming accomodation and room. The onsens were some of the best I've ever used in Japan, the extra hot bath is especially great on a cold night. Staff were extremely helpful and showed me places worth visiting in Kusatsu. Would definitely stay again.

Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era.

The property was very quiet, clean, and relaxing. Also, the surrounding community was quaint and worth exploring. The staff (including the owner) were very friendly and accommodating.

The staffs are very nice and helpful! The room was so big and comfortable. The breakfast were so good :) My toddler was very enjoy staying here.

I loved the location. We were there for an event at the Takasaki Arena and the location was very close in proximity. We also weren’t too far from restaurants, konbinis and things that we’d need while in town. Also the unit had its own parking stalls and several useful amenities - soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, toothbrush, towels, dishes, wifi, house slippers, hangers in the closets and comfy pillows and blankets!

The property was clean and very well organized when we got there. Everything was so smooth and the facilities are great. The free amenities were also very nice. The staff were respectful. The sauna and onsen were relaxing and refreshing. The rooms and bed were comfortable. The TV and the Netflix were also entertaining.
