Our stay at The Gem Hotel and Restaurant in Stansted Mountfitchet was excellent from start to finish. Patrick, Sadie, Charlotte, Trinity, and Frank were exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared and full of flavour, making every meal a pleasure. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, combining elegance with comfort. Our room was beautifully appointed, immaculately maintained, and clearly furnished with great care and attention to detail. Its location is ideal for travellers, being conveniently close to Stansted Airport while still enjoying the charm and tranquillity of the surrounding area. The setting is equally delightful, with a lovely dining room and a beautiful outdoor garden terrace that provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would highly recommend The Gem to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, wonderful food, and a comfortable stay near Stansted.

I loved how clean it was. Everything looked clean and smelled clean. The room was amazing, it was so nicely decorated, smelled nice, had a great romantic vibe, super cozy and the bed super comfortable. We will definitely come back, looking forward to that.

Hospitality by the staff were outstanding, we received a glass of Prosecco on arrival and shown to our room. The decor in the room was really nice and having a smart TV was a plus too. The bed was really comfy and had a lot of pillows and cushions.
