The community is very proud of their community owned pub, and rightfully so! Breakfast is set out by lovely volunteers, and manager Lucy gave us a wonderful welcome. Lots of nice walks in the area (with a helpful guide to a few walks provided) and it is a good base for adventures into Exmoor.

the beaufort Lodge was lovely the room was immaculate comfy beds and recommendation for breakfast at Tesco good and location

A place with a character, something missing these days. Very affordable prices plus a hearty breakfast. Excellent customer service, a family atmosphere, a wonderful, romantic garden, and a great bar. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This property is amazing! I stayed here with my husband and son. We were on the top floor in the attic room. This wasn’t a problem. There was a couple of small flights of stairs nothing we couldn’t manage. We had a private bathroom which was cleaned to a high standard. Fresh towels provided daily. Everything is so clean with a homely feel. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I loved the decor and the quotes around the B&B especially the one on the entrance door. It made me smile each time i left. Breakfast is next level. We all really enjoyed it with so much choice. I recommend the granola which is made by the B&B owners it was delicious. The beds are so comfortable first night after traveling a long distance we all slept 12 hours!

Great host, everything was good, lovely property nice quiet and private. Nice big bedroom with very comfy bed. We had great time and will definitely return again.

The room was very comfortable, with lovely finishing touches. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was very nice but the veggie sausage could be improved to a modern plant-based product rather than the old-fashioned mixed vegetable sausage.

The room and ensuite bathroom were a good size and the outdoor area with tables was inviting. Having the pub, with pub food and breakfast available was a good asset. The staff were lovely, the towels were good. Good access to lighting, power points and generous tea and coffee making supplies. We wish the hosts much success.
