Perfectly located on a gorgeous and quiet street, with their own parking spaces. It's just one short block from all of the shops in Windermere, and a great hike to the lookout point for the views. Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

This guest house has won numerous awards and it is easy to see why. -quiet area and only roughly 10 min walk to Windermere and Bowness-On-Windermere centres; -plenty of on-street parking; -clean & comfortable; - fantastic hosts who were friendly and very helpful (Ken even advised us on what side of the bus to sit on to get the best views for our planned bus tour of the area…brilliant).

Wonderful room and location. The host was beyond nice and helpful, complimentary coffee and tea station which definitely adds up to the perfect stay when you can grab a hot coffee cup on the way out on a rainy morning. All the facilities were very well looked at, it exceeded all of our expectations! The room was also very dark and quiet at night/early morning so we had the best sleep there! We will definitely come again, cannot recommend this place enough!
