Luka’s lodge was super clean and well equipped. It was a quick walk from the downtown area. The staff were friendly and responsive.

The place was simple but amazing for the price. It had everything we needed: an equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, and a cute little patio outside where we could sit and relax. It felt peaceful and private. The location was quiet, yet close enough to get around easily. The lady who welcomed us, a sweet grandma, was incredibly kind and made us feel truly cared for. It felt more like visiting family than just staying at an apartment.

Perfect room for a few days in Hvar. Bruno is a great host, picked me up from the ferry and upgraded my room. The view from the balcony was incredible. It’s about a 15 minute walk from town but I didn’t mind the walk. It’s close to a supermarket and a beautiful beach.

Amazing apartment in a very quiet neighborhood and very close to the town center, only 10 mins walk. The room has everything you need. Special thanks to the host Fata Butkovic for her incredible hospitality and kindness.

We felt so lucky to have stayed here. We were on our way to catch the ferry in Sucuraj, which is at the southern tip of the Hvar Island ,when we had our front tire blow out, about 19 kilometers from the ferry.The car rental company sent a tow truck , but we had to be brought back to Hvar town for the night . And a replacement rental car was coming by ferry from Split the next day.There is about 3.6 kilometers of road work.The road is very rough .Tow truck driver said that there had been 10 blow outs the day before.I quickly found this guest house for us to stay. I booked 2 rooms , 2# and 3# for four of us. The hostess was so nice , she can down to meet us at the entrance to this neighbor hood. There is really no place to park, tow truck driver dropped us off. And yes there were lots of stairs, but once you do it once....you know what to expect. The rooms were spotless, everything we needed. Room 2 had a lovely sea view, and room 3 had a great terrace .And we had a wonderful dinner on the terrace with some amazing leftovers from the night before. She brought us plates ,forks and knives. Loved that they had recycling bins, kettle with coffee and tea. The location is really good, close to the bus depot . In the morning we stopped by the small farmers market and got some cherries. There are 2 bakeries as well. Picked up some goodies and had a coffee along the Riva. It was fun to see a number of local dogs who were out that morning making the rounds.It was quite lovely to be there early in the morning. One last word.. the drive to the ferry is on a very narrow road. We made it to the ferry cautiously the next day with a new rental. Higher off the ground and bigger tires. However if you have never driven on roads like that you may want to think twice. Taking the Ferry from Stari Grad back to Split and traveling down the coast highway makes more sense. Our original destination was Korcula.

Location was perfect, very close to the city center and to a lot of restaurants. Goran was very kind at the check in and explained everything about our stay to us. Check out was at 10 am and he let us leave our luggage until our ferry left at around 6 pm, which was nice :)

The hostess was incredibly accommodating to our needs. The size of the apartment was huge for the price we paid. Every morning, we would cook our breakfast, made our coffee and took them to the huge balcony with partial view of the sea. And every evening we would wash our beach stuff and hang them on the balcony with a clothing rack. The property was just a vacationer’s dream.
