We traveled by train and had to walk 20 minutes to the hotel, which was not a problem as we traveled light. It is a very peaceful area near the river, in a decent small town. We walked it up and down. The locals are amiable. Has everything for a multiday stay. We used the train to visit Bergamo, which was very easy. We could take the train to Varenna/Bellagio easily, but we did not. We already visited those towns, but we preferred this place. We were looking for peace and to relax, and we found it. We booked one night but extended it to four. Breakfast: we felt treated like a queen and king, perfect. Once we had an excellent dinner, you must book it upfront, or else you will be too late. Room #03, the biggest one, is the one you need: More than excellent. Staff: from Owner, Chef, William, and all other helpers: 100% friendly and correct. Internet perfect. Privacy: 100%, Location 100%. We had to go, or else we would have extended the stay. And when we left, we took the train to Malpensa airport quickly, on time, and without any hassle. Conclusion: we had a perfect stay.

Valeria is a wonderful host, very accommodating and such a nice woman! There is beautiful nature surrounding the house giving privacy and quiet even though there are other houses nearby. Close to town as well as a few great hikes very nearby. This is my 4th stay here, I will keep coming back and honestly can't wait until the next time!

It was a little bit of a drive on the hills to get to the town, but it is breathtakingly beautiful. Enjoyed every second of my drive up here. Host is very responsive. Hotel is clean has parking facilities, hotel had a bar and sandwiches, people were friendly in the town and there is a bar and restaurant few steps away which served dinner and breakfast, very convenient since it had groceries too. Overall totally enjoyed the stay and walking in the town.
