Guest Houses in Kobe

Very nice place, equipped with all kinds of toilet products and perfect location! I would definitely book here if I ever go back to Kobe again :)

They care about the silence and it’s the most important! Clean and comfy!!

Despite old, the property was really nice. I got free ticket for onsen nearby, and the property already prepared everything that I need for the onsen (towel, body wash, shampoo, etc), including the tote bag. There was locker for valuables and they provided 2L free water as well.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Japanese hostels and capsule hotels and this one was maybe the nicest I’ve ever been in. The bunks were really solid and very nicely built and the whole place was super clean.

We had a great stay here, the location was great, the staff were amazing, highly recommend!

I loved the personal touches around the guesthouse and that they teach you how to make onigiri for breakfast! A great experience and super close to the train station and the mountain. You can start your trail and end up in the city. Highly recommend!

Takashi-san was very nice and approachable! The bunk beds compared to other hostels that I've stayed are much bigger and also the room only has two bunk beds and is spacious, which helps if you need to fix your luggage! :D The rooms are on the second floor which has one toilet for sharing. The second floor also has a public space. Two Shower rooms are downstairs along with another toilet that has a bidet. The location is also a 5mins walk from the nearest subway station! There's a 7/11 and Family Mart Konbini near the place! I also tried ordering a meal in the cafe - the hamburger set meal was Oishi! It was very filling also since it includes a rice and hamburger + sunny side egg on top of it while glazed with a special sauce. It also includes onion rings and fries! Overall, the place is very good and affordable, would recommend and go back again here :D

Staff are friendly. Great value. There is a coffee bar within walking distance. My new go-to spot for Kobe stays!

Our hosts truly became friends by the time we left. Yasuo and his partner were so friendly and welcoming. If you don’t do anything else order your dinner and lunch from Yasuo. He’s a fantastic chef and will make you or your kids your favorite foods.

Beautiful rustic Japanese minimalist approach to the renovation that created this stylish and very roomy bedsit apartment. So many things to love - the insistence on soft pure cottons for bedding, towels and pajamas, the retention of historic timbers, use of tatami-style flooring, the garden cafe downstairs operated by the friendly, flexible host and the quiet, hip neighborhood easy commuting distance to Konan University.
