Vila Nova Milfontes is a lovely little seaside town and we’re glad we found this wonderful B&B which is just a few steps away from cafes, shops and restaurants. Room is simple and great value for money. Parking is free and easy, just outside the B&B. The beach is about 10mins walk away and the lighthouse (great place for sunset) another 15mins.

Lagoa azul guest house II enjoys a location in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1.5 miles from Franquia Beach and 1.6 miles from Sao Clemente Fort.

The shower could clean Judas, steal the humbug from Scrooge. Also loved the clothing line outside. Washed my hiking clothes in the sink then threw em on the line and was wicked clean for the next day of the Fisherman’s.

The modern bathroom. Excellent shower. Nice and friendly owner who took time to give some recommendations. No breakfast at the hotel but free coffee at the backery next door for hotel guests.

Just a 10-minute walk from Franquia Beach and half a mile from Sao Clemente Fort, Soleil Bleu features accommodations in Vila Nova de Milfontes, with a terrace.

Loved the room, very cozy and warm. It was pouring all day and we got to the room and was nice and warm and dry. Best was the drier in the bathroom to dry our wet clothes.
