Guest Houses in Sedgefield

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this beautiful house and truly enjoyed every moment. The house is spacious, modern, and very comfortable, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a lovely open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. The highlight for us was definitely the huge patio with its breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding greenery. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The area is incredibly quiet, and the only sounds you hear are birds singing — exactly what you need for a calm and relaxing getaway. The location is also excellent: peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still very convenient for visiting Knysna and enjoying nearby lakes and hiking trails. We would highly recommend this place to couples and families looking for a quiet and comfortable stay. The only small suggestion we would make is to add heating options in the bedrooms for colder seasons. During our stay, the nights were quite chilly, and there were no electric blankets or AC/heating units available in the bedrooms. Adding them would make the experience even more comfortable during colder weather. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we would happily stay here again.

The breakfast was really exceptional. the facilities were absolutely spotless. I really appreciated the small touches like the home made muffins in the morning and the filter coffee in the bedrooms.

The property was comfortable and clean, and beautifully landscaped. Parking was easy and secure. There is an excellent restaurant next door where you can get breakfast, drinks, pizza, or a full meal. Access to the beach is from the yard--simply walk out the gate, hike over the dune and you're there. Sedgefield is a great little town. Make sure you get to the Wild Oats Farmers Market on Saturday morning. Great fun and food. Ruth lives in an adjacent building on site and is available when needed, and she is pleasant and easy to deal with.

Super nice room with a great balcony, very clean and cozy. Cleopatra was very helpful. Ideal for paragliders, the street up to Sedgeview ist just across the main road :)

A charming little studio tucked in the back of a lovely garden, with safe, off-street parking, Akkerhuys proved to be a perfect overnight stop. The generous yoghurt, muesli and home-made rusks provided by the kind hosts, were a real blessing.

Facilities exceptional especially the backup power to avoid loadshedding.
