The Hilton Gardens Inn is a lovely clean hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. It is only about a 20 minute walk from the city. Our room was overlooking the river. It was very clean and it had a fridge, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and hairdryer. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of toiletries. The breakfast was gorgeous with loads of choice. We also had dinner in the hotel the first evening which was well presented and tasty but full marks to all the staff, you made us feel very welcome.

We are just back from an excellent stay at The Hilton. I emailed to say it was our anniversary, we were upgraded from a king to an executive king room with prosecco and a treat on arrival. The room was spotless. Large comfortable king-sized bed, slippers, robes and espresso machine. Nice big room. The bathroom was lovely with fresh fluffy towels. Will definitely return. Made our trip extra special.
