An amazing, spotless, and beautifully decorated property equipped with all the essentials (salt, pepper, soap, towels). Spacious layout with two buildings at your disposal: the main house and an additional space featuring a game room, BBQ area, shower, and dining room. Stunning pool with a terrace and plenty of play areas for the little ones. Convenient street parking right in front of the property. A very welcoming host.

Great location within walking distance to all the main sites ! Easy parking too. Apartment has great views and is super comfortable, new and spacious !

Amazing location & unique experience.

The location was great! It only took several minutes to enter the walls of Obidos. We hada nice view of the city from the downstairs doors that opened. The unit was clean, quiet, and suited our needs as a family of 5 well. We would stay here again.

The location was perfect since it was very close to the castle where the Christmas Market was. That was the reason for the trip. Also easy access to the highway and markets.

A good place close to Obidos - was optimal for a big family to visit a Obidos, Peniche, Alcobaça, Batalha, even Tomar. All necessary amenities are there and are in good shape. The owner is very helpful.

We were in Obidos for a wedding in the church right next to Castle House! Location was phenomenal!

Amazing location. Clean. The host was wonderful. We were there for Christmas and she even had a Christmas tree up. That made my whole trip. Such a great touch. We will stay here again on our next visit.

This property literally took us back in time! It’s truly amazing, the history the layout, just wow! We’ll be talking about this place for years to come! We will definitely stay at Casa da Talhada anytime we are in Obidos! Owners are very responsive ss well.

We loved our stay, very clean, updated, convenient to everything. Well stocked, comfortable beds. Easy to get to after instructions from our host where we picked up the keys even with all our luggage it was very doable. Beautiful view views out the windows to the wall. Quiet off the main street. Would definitely recommend this place. We had a family of six and it worked out perfectly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property in the charming town of Óbidos. Raphael is an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. His personalised approach offers far more than just accommodation - we felt immersed in an authentic Portuguese experience. Hearing about the history of the property and the surrounding area from someone so passionate and knowledgeable made our stay even more special. The house itself is delightful - spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Although we stayed for only two nights, we would happily have stayed much longer. Raphael very kindly provided basic kitchen staples, which were greatly appreciated. He was also incredibly helpful with transport, collecting us from the train station, taking us to the house, and then ensuring we made our early train on departure day. We truly cannot recommend this property highly enough. If we could give more than ten stars, we absolutely would.
