Homestays in Bakewell

The location was perfect! I was here for a small, relaxing getaway in the countryside, as I've been living in a busy city in Spain working as an instructor while completing my PhD dissertation. I couldn't have found a better spot for that. It's right on a walking/cycling/riding trail in the heart of the Peak District. It's easy to get to any of the nearby towns from there. Plus, the room was charming and cozy, with plenty of cushions on the bed and a small tea/coffee station. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into decorating it and making sure guests would feel welcome. Also, lastly, I can't forget to mention the amazing breakfasts served at the café! I could go on and on about the waffles, scones, and eggs benedict. In addition, the staff was incredible and always welcoming.

Lovely cosy, and welcoming house with great decor and a delicious breakfast. Perfect location in Bakewell for Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.

The location - so close to the shops and restaurants. It’s so clean and cosy.

The breakfast hamper was exceptional. Croissants, porridge and a good selection of hot drinks were provided. Crisps and chocolates were also left as a lovely festive treat! !

Oh my lord, what a beautiful place to stay, the scenery, the most comfortable bed I've slept in, the tranquility, you name it, it had it and the owners are lovely too, very friendly and very informative

The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant served excellent meals and the car had a great selection of beer on tap. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect place for every time we visit Bakewell. Love the rooms and the team that work there. We will be back every year!!
