The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant served excellent meals and the car had a great selection of beer on tap. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect! I was here for a small, relaxing getaway in the countryside, as I've been living in a busy city in Spain working as an instructor while completing my PhD dissertation. I couldn't have found a better spot for that. It's right on a walking/cycling/riding trail in the heart of the Peak District. It's easy to get to any of the nearby towns from there. Plus, the room was charming and cozy, with plenty of cushions on the bed and a small tea/coffee station. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into decorating it and making sure guests would feel welcome. Also, lastly, I can't forget to mention the amazing breakfasts served at the café! I could go on and on about the waffles, scones, and eggs benedict. In addition, the staff was incredible and always welcoming.

Private room in a new build is located in Heanor, just 11 miles from Nottingham Castle and 11 miles from National Ice Centre. This homestay features free private parking and a shared kitchen.

Upon arrival, the host was great at communicating to help with ensure I had everything I needed, understood where things were, how to turn on the heating, that sort of thing. The room was secure, very clean, very comfortable. Private bathroom with a lovely bath and shower. There was a kitchen with usual things, but I didn't make use of it.
