In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

The property is really quiet and you can see lots of nature right out the front window! The family is amazing, and made this the best stay of our entire vacation. We felt like we were part of the family during mealtimes and the food was delicious! They helped us arrange bicycles and with any general questions, including catching the local buses, best beach spots, etc. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotless and the shower is really nice with really good water pressure! The small kitchen is also a nice addition. All in all, the hosts warmth combined with the lovely facilities made this our best stay yet and an unforgettable authentic experience with a beautiful family. Thank you so much ❤️

Very nice place, clean rooms, hot water, everything was perfect. Great location, few minutes to the beach. Restaurant with delicious food and big portions downstairs. Family that owns this place is great. They are very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Love climate of this place.

Really nice and friendly owner taking care of everything (also organized a safary for us. Brought local tea, when kid was coughing etc). We felt very welcome. It is very small home accomodation type place with only 2 family rooms. Rooms were clean and new. Air conditioner worked well. Nice jungle and nature voices around, quiet. Short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was by the sea (which was very nice) and basic with eggs, fruits and coffee. We liked the beach as it was not overcrouded and we could use hotel sun loungers. The beach did not went deep quickly, so it was safe, if not to go too far. It was great to swim with small surfboards you could rent on beach. Just to note, I also visited Silent beach, what I do not recommend as it had very rough waves and went deep quickly. Sand part was very narrow although palms were very nice. If you are looking for small family touch accomodation then this is for you.

Amazing location with great beach access and surf!

We spent 4 nights with my partner here. We absolutely loved it! The host was sweet and helpful with all our needs. The room is specious and comfortable with all the necessities: good AC, fridge, closet for clothes, kettle, etc. Our room was upstairs and the view was also beautiful. We were helped with tuktuk and also scooter rent. The beach is just in front of the accommodation but not too far is also a more beautiful beach which is called Silent beach. Walking distance there was an amazing restaurant Aga surf view with delicious and high quality food. A cheaper option was just cross the road in front of the accommodation a little local restaurant. I am picky with food but I can tell there the food was also super delicious. I can totally recommend this place and if ever I want to come back to Tangalle area I will choose again the same place.

The place was amazing — super chill and relaxing. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the vibe is perfect for unwinding. The beach nearby is incredible, great for surfing and exploring all the little hidden spots around. The host was absolutely wonderful — really welcoming and helpful with everything.
