Very clean and new, comfortable and spacious - each room had its own en-suite bathroom, AC and fan. Hosts were also amazing, very friendly family who helped cater for all of our needs. They also own a shop downstairs which is super handy to buy things that you need! Incredible value for money!

What can we say? An unexpected and memorable stay here in this super comfortable room where we were thoroughly spoiled from beginning to end. Shehan, you are the perfect host and think of everything! Highlights of our short stay included walks along this stunning beach, the jeep trip to the safari where Shehan expertly and respectfully located so many beautiful animals including the pinnacle of the sightings – the majestic Lucas the leopard – and his queen too. We also saw a cobra! Finally the food! What culinary delights – the coffee cake on arrival – the beautifully cooked lobster and red snapper with elegant salad and rice – and a breakfast worthy of a 5* restaurant. All round top class! The room and bathroom are very big and comfortable. There is a nice garden and some cooking facilities. Bassu and his family and dog Rosi are very welcoming and nice. He helped us to know where to see the turtles laying eggs at night and packed us dinner for the trip. We also had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka! We got to taste the famous buffalo curd and we cooked roti for us, among many other things. They also allowed us to park our tuktuk in their yard. Location is good, just next to the beach. And everything for an unbeatable price!

EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. Very nice large rooms, large balcony. The second floor has a high ceiling. Very tasty breakfasts. For dinner we had the best rockfish I had ever eaten. Everything in the hotel was of high quality - mattress, linen, towels. Excellent hot water pressure. The hotel was in a quiet location. One beach was a 5 minute walk, the other was in 10 minutes. The beaches are picturesque, huge, empty. One morning we walked several kilometers and met 3 persons. We saw many traces of large sea turtles. They crawl out of the sea at night and lay eggs at Rekawa beach. Swimming here is difficult because of the waves, but it is possible in small bays behind the rocks. Every day we met peacocks, monitor lizards, and monkeys. We were very grateful to Gintare and Chamy for their hospitality. Thanks to them, my birthday with cake and balloons was wonderful. They were always ready to help with any question. We hope to come here next year. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who loves silence and nature!
