Ideally situated right next to the nursery slopes, with access to 150km of varied pistes, the house is built to the highest standards of luxury with underfloor heating, internet access, family sauna and all the alpine charm of open log fires, oak floors, natural stone and even a grand piano. Following extension in 2018 there are 5 double/twin bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 4 bunk-beds, 5 bathrooms, 2 main living rooms, 2 dining areas and a separate study/library. Situated at the foot of the majestic Hochkoenig mountain, Hinterthal is a beautiful village at the end of the valley with rocky peaks to the east and north and ski slopes to the south and west. Close to the house is a range of restaurants offering traditional Austrian and modern European cuisine as well as apres-ski bars and the late night AlmBar. For the winter season,the chalet is right next to the nursery slope where the ski school meets, so the beginners are never far from home. The nursery slope connects via a ski path to the main ski slopes offering some of the most reliable snowfall in the Alps,150km of pistes for all levels of experience and plenty of safe off-piste skiing. Hinterthal is in the Hochkoenig ski area of 4 interconnected villages,which in turn is part of the massive Amade ski region with its 270 lifts and 866km of pistes. In the summer, Hinterthal is a wonderful place for an active and healthy holiday. You will not find better walking, hiking, climbing, overnight stays in mountain top huts, tennis, golf, white water rafting and cycling than is available either from the door or in the immediate area.
