Welcome to our family run Haus Vera! Your cozy apartments in the holiday region Zell am See-Kaprun. Our house is located in the mountain town of Zell am See, in a prime location right in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. You find lake Zell and the cable car AreitXpress within short walking distance from the house! Haus Vera has 4 lovely apartments decorated in Swedish/Austrian style and a double room. They come in various sizes and are available for 1-6 people. In the summer you can relax in our garden in one of our sun chairs, make a nice barbecue or let your children amuse them selves in the playground.
Our family loves to spend the day outside! In the winter we like to go skiing, both downhill and cross country. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time on the mountain, hiking and enjoying as much of the area and lovely surroundings as possible! We are originally from Sweden but have been living in Zell am See since the beginning of 2015.
Within a short walking distance you'll find the bus stop for bus 660 and Tischlerhäusl train station. From there you can easily reach destinations as Kaprun, Kitzsteinhorn glacier and Krimml Waterfalls with public transportation. If you want to hike take the AreitXpress up onto the Schmittenhöhe mountain. There you can choose between various of hiking trails in the summer, don't miss Schmidolins Feuerteufe, an adventure path for children! During the winter season, the valley station of AreitXpress is the perfect starting location for a lovely day in the slopes. It's also very easy to go skiing on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Go by car or bus, only around 20-25 minutes from Haus Vera.
