Located directly opposite Surfers Paradise Beach, Viscount on the Beach offers luxurious self-catering apartments with private balconies and magnificent ocean views. Formerly Beachfront Viscount, we have a long history of delivering outstanding holiday experiences with our prime beachfront location on First Avenue. Every apartment has breath-taking views – yes, every apartment. If you have been searching for beachfront hotels on the Gold Coast, our absolute beachfront accommodation is just what you’ve been looking for.

Neighborhood info

Our property is ideally located at the beginning of the beautiful 2km Broadbeach boardwalk, offering a scenic route perfect for walking, prams, scooters, and bikes. Just two blocks away, you'll find a corner store, a tram stop providing easy access to the Convention Centre, Pacific Fair, Surfers Paradise, and beyond, as well as a nearby bus stop for added convenience. The Broadbeach Bowling Club, along with a variety of restaurants and a bottle shop, are only a short 5-minute walk away. With its beachfront location and proximity to all essential amenities, it's the perfect family accommodation. Enjoy the weekend markets, which are just a 15-minute walk in either direction.

• Please note that this property does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual "Schoolies Week" period. It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period.

• Please note that there is a 2% charge when you pay with a credit card.

• The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property.

• Please note there are nearby works - not within our property however we would like to make you aware - during the daytime hours of of 6.30am – 6.30pm Mon – Sat. We appreciate your understanding during this time and apologize for any inconvenience.

Viscount on the Beach will be upgrading the landscaping and perimeter retaining walls, with works commencing Friday, 22 August 2025 and is to be completed by Tuesday, 28 of November 2025. During this time, all facilities will remain open, with the following temporary changes:

Pool access will be via the North Lawn (basement access closed)

Beach access will be available from the front exit (not through the pool area)

Temporary Fencing will be around the perimeter – please note that views from all apartments are not obstructed.
