Booking Verification

We operate similarly to hotels; however, since you will be utilising a self-check-in, we require the following details digitally via a secure link. The property requires the following from the main booker within 48 hours after booking:

A photo or scan of a valid photo ID that matches the credit card details used to book your reservation.

A pre-authorisation of $0.01 (one cent) will be placed on your credit or debit card to register your card on file. This is standard practice, similar to how hotels secure a payment method at the time of check-in.

Your information will be securely stored in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Failure to provide these documents may result in the cancellation of your reservation, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.

Security Deposit

A security deposit is required prior to check-in and must be paid via bank transfer. The deposit amount varies by property and will be communicated at the time of booking.

The deposit will be refunded after check-out, provided no damages, missing items, or additional cleaning requirements are identified by our team following your stay.

Please note: security deposits are collected via bank transfer not by credit card. Bank transfer details will be provided following your booking confirmation.

Card Pre-Authorisation at Registration

Please ensure you have a valid credit or debit card available at registration. This pre-authorisation is not a charge and will not be debited from your account. It is held as a backup to allow us to attempt card recovery should any damages or additional costs arise that exceed the security deposit held.

Cleaning Service

This property is not serviced like a hotel and regular housekeeping including daily cleaning and linen changes is not included during your stay. If you would like to arrange additional cleaning services, these are available upon request for an additional fee.

Basic Amenities

A basic starter pack will be provided, including several single-use items to get you started: tea, coffee, sugar, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions as these will not be replenished.

Noise and Party Policy

This property is located in a residential area. We adhere to a strict noise policy and appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment for neighbours.

Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Parties or gatherings are not permitted. Hen, stag, or similar group celebrations will not be accommodated. Violation of these regulations may result in immediate eviction without a refund of any remaining funds or deposits.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Please inform Bentleigh & Beyond Your Melbourne Getaway of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

If you require an invoice when booking a prepaid rate, write this and your company details in the Special Requests box.

In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

This property is located in a residential area, and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise.

Quiet hours are between 22:00:00 and 08:00:00.

Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests don't receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation.

A damage deposit of AUD 500 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full, in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
