Barb has a long history of working with people sometimes in difficult circumstances, loves to chat, is a lover of history, beautiful things, art, books, gardens and quiet relaxed social eating experiences. I have also been a hard worker and running Burnbank is not for the faint hearted being a historial building, timber, lathen plaster and definitely not the laminate style it requires endless amounts of cleaning and gardening. At Burnbank we accept animals and we have a Golden Retriever very old, and a Rag Doll Cat also getting along in age. I am very happy in my work at Burnbank, love the nice people who come to stay and make many friends, and especially persons who appreciate the finer things in life, ambience, the beauty of the outdoors, quiet times indoors and an environment that is separate from the stressors of high density living.

Burnbank is part of Australian history from 1854, it is a historical ambient home 170 years young gracious parkliike garden for exploring. Suites are sell equipped and comfortable for your stay at Burnbank. Burnbank is a place to relax in its quiet, leafy gardens with canopied trees, and offers a relax homelike accommodation fitted with the extras normally found in better hotels. However, Burnbank is not a hotel it is a family owned Retreat or Bed and Breakfast facility. Burnbank has an open large pool. We have sun lounges, and outdoor seating and relaxing areas. All our suites are ensuited, one with Spa, one with Claw Bath, two with Showers, three of the suites have direct access to the ambient treed outdoors areas, and for your privacy. Edwin Flack Suite has pull out single bed as an addition to the queen bed. We serve a buffet breakfast in our gracious dining room, you are welcome to use our Microwave, Egg cooker, pancake maker, sandwich maker, milk shake maker, coffee maker, refrigerator at any time during your stay.

The locality of Burnbank is extremely safe country house is located within a large parklike garden, through a hedge separating it from the outside world, and suita. There are many walks outside Burnbank with a local creek, views of the area, Burnbank is located in a unique setting on the edge of the urban sprawl, it has many local shops and Westfield Shopping and Cinema complex is 5 minute drive away. There are many restaurants in the immediate localty, or all culinary persuasions. The property is safe for children, lots of trees and space, we have adult and children's DVD's and a number of children's parks in the area, skate board ramp, Mc Donald, Hungry Jack's and Kentucky chicken within minutes, lots of places to walk the dogs and enjoy the country atmosphere close to urban Melbourne minutes off the M1 Freeway through the Berwick Off ramp. For the more adventurous there are wineries, local botanical gardens, the cheese factory, libraries,excellent hotels, ten pin bowls, fitness centres, beauticians, hairdressers, Sunday market, walks along the creek or the picturesque horse trail. Burnbank is located approximately 35 minutes drive from CBD on the M1 Freeway in "Old Berwick"
