Don Valley Lodge is set on 10 Acres and is run by myself and my husband. We have called the property, where Don Valley Lodge is located, our home for the past 8 years and spent 3 years lovingly renovating Don Valley Lodge, replacing the dated interior with Brand New Fixtures and Fittings. We live on this gorgeous property, in the main house, (located approximately 15 metres from Don Valley Lodge) with our 2 boys and 2 Labradors (the dogs are permanently contained within a fenced area attached to our home). The Labradors may bark "Hello" if they see or hear Guests. Don Valley Lodge is set on a picturesque 10 acre property, filled with beautiful tall trees, lush green grass and a Dam filled with Lily Pads. We love watching the Ducks dive into the dam and hearing the Kookaburras laugh daily. During Springtime there are often baby Ducklings waddling around. The Birdlife that visits the property daily are a superb sight and they love feeding on the bird seed we provide them with. Bird Seed and a Bird Feeder are also supplied for Guests to use. Fallow Deer visit the property most days to feed on the grass. Most nights you can hear Wombats munching on grass and Owls in the trees. There is Playground Equipment with a Slide and Swings that the children of Guests are welcome to use as long as the children are supervised at all times by Parent/s or Guardian/s and they will not hold the Owners of Don Valley Lodge liable for any injuries incurred as a result of playing on the Playground Equipment. A Dam is located on our property, approximately 100 metres from Don Valley Lodge. Children must be supervised at all times when they are walking around the property. Please do not enter any shedding areas on the property. Farm Machinery, including forklifts, are occasionally in use. We love this property so much and thoroughly enjoy the peace and quiet as well as the beautiful wildlife that visit everyday and hope our Guests enjoy it as much as we do.

Don Valley Lodge is a Renovated, Fully Self-Contained, Two Bedroom House. The First Bedroom has a Queen-Sized Bed. The Second Bedroom has a Bunk Bed (Double Bed on the bottom & Single Bed on the top. A Single Mattress, Single Fold-Out Bed & Portable Cot are available for extra Guests. Don Valley Lodge has a Full Kitchen, Bathroom with a Bath & Separate Shower (Toiletries Provided), a Washing Machine (Laundry Powder Provided) & Decks/Patios on three sides to view & feed the Birdlife (Bird Seed & Bird Feeder Provided). The Lounge Room contains comfy Leather Lounges, Mountain and Garden views, a 55 Inch, Flat Screen, Smart TV with Foxtel & a DVD player. A selection of DVD's are provided for Guests to watch during their stay and Board Games, Card Games & a selection of Books, including Children's Books are also provided. FREE WI-FI is Provided. There is a dedicated Workspace with a Desk & a comfortable Desk Chair. The Kitchen has Stone Benchtops & is Fully Equipped with a Full Oven, Bench Top Stove, Double Sink, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Family-Sized Fridge & Freezer, as well as cutlery (including Chopsticks), cookware, dinnerware, glassware & kitchen utensils. Plastic Dinnerware and Cutlery is available for Children to use. There is an extendable Dining Table that can comfortably seat 8 people. A Booster Seat with Tray is available for Babies/Toddlers, upon request. Breakfast Provisions are supplied including a variety of Cereals, Pancake Mix, a Loaf of Bread, Milk, Butter & a variety of Spreads. We also provide Guests with Cookies, sachets of Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Sugar & a selection of Teas. Salt & Pepper, Oil, Cling Wrap & Aluminium Foil are also provided. Perfect for Families: there is a Porta-Cot, Change Mat, Highchair, Plastic Cutlery & Dinnerware & Children's Books & DVD's.

Don Valley Lodge is only a 3-minute drive from the township of Yarra Junction, which has an abundance of shops including Woolworths Supermarket, Variety Stores, a Chemist, Doctors Surgery, Post Office, Banks, Bakeries, Butchers, Cafes, Restaurants, Take Away shops and a Health Food Store, where guests can source all their necessary supplies. Yarra Junction also has a Playground and an Indoor Sports Centre with an Indoor Pool, Gym & Basketball Courts. The popular township of HEALESVILLE is only a short 15 minute drive away where you can enjoy the many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, along with many world renowned wineries including Domain Chandon and Rochford, the famous Four Pillars Gin distillery, or spend a day viewing all the wildlife at Healesville Sanctuary. WARBURTON is also only a 15-minute drive away where you can visit the popular Redwood Forest, explore the many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, or have a picnic lunch by the Yarra River and feed the local ducks. MOUNT DONNA BUANG is 30-minute drive from Don Valley Lodge and is normally covered with snow during the winter months and is a perfect spot for snow play and tobogganing.
