Nestled in the leafy green suburb of Kenmore, the Garden Suite at Jacaranda House is a spacious, ground-floor sanctuary perfect for singles, couples, or friends. While the suite is attached to our main residence, it is entirely separate—providing the privacy of your own home with a completely independent living space. The location is a dream for those who love to explore on foot. You are just a short stroll from local cafes, restaurants, shops and public transport. For those seeking city vibrance, Suncorp Stadium (10km) and The Gabba (11km) are nearby for live music and sport, while Brisbane’s premier galleries and theatres are all within a 10km radius. Don’t miss the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens (7km) and the huge selection of hiking trails in the same location and if you’re visiting on a weekend, we highly recommend a stop at the charming Via Retro Cafe for a coffee or treat. During your stay, you’ll likely meet our friendly resident cats—Pippin, Mickey, Lulu and Freya. They adore attention and can often be found lounging in the garden. Note: To ensure guest safety and property security, a CCTV camera is located at the front of the property, monitoring the driveway entrance. This also protects our business and ensures only registered guests are accessing the property.

Our neighbourhood is a peaceful, welcoming pocket with a genuine community heart. While we are just 10km from the Brisbane CBD, our home is nestled against the Cubberla Creek Reserve and only 5km from the rolling countryside of Brookfield, offering a quiet escape from the city’s bustle. Adventure is right on your doorstep: Turn Left: Step directly into sprawling parklands and scenic walking trails a little further afield at Mt Coot-tha. Turn Right: Find yourself within 200m of vibrant local cafes and award-winning restaurants. We are also perfectly positioned for exploring Brisbane's highlights, with easy access to shopping centres, cinemas, and cultural hubs like museums and galleries. The world-renowned Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary on the Brisbane River is just a short drive away, making this the ideal base for both nature lovers and city explorers.
