Our property is 2.7 acres located directly on Queen's Lake in Camden Haven. Most of the property is treed, with some trees reaching over 40 metres! This is wildlife habitat for many species and we are currently planting many more species to accomodate birds, gliders, bats, koalas and other creatures who share this place with us. The cottage was one of the original holiday houses built for the lakeside experience, likely in the 60's or 70's. We are strong advocates of sustainability and are setting up many gardens for food and beauty. We recycle and compost and have solar power to offset energy use.

We are a family of 3, having just moved to Australia from Canada in October 2025. We have hosted many travelers in our home (through WWOOF and Helpex), over 200 people! We have also been travelers, and know how important it is to have a great space to stay in while traveling. I have traveled to over 33 countries myself, and have experienced many cultures. I feel blessed to be able to help other people travel to Camden Haven/Mid North Coast, and hope that you will love it as much as we do!

This is one of the most stunning places in NSW. Of course we are biased ;-) If you like fishing or the beach, you will love it here. Also the towns are small and quaint, with great cafe and restaurant culture. We are away from the bustle of the cities, and love the surrounding nature here. There are great walks and hikes at your doorstep. It is a nature lover's dream.
