We booked for 3 days, but only stayed two because I was not sleeping well. Mainly because the weather was hot. Pool looked very inviting but did not use. Limited storage for luggage and clothing. Like Lake Cathie a lot and would like to stay there a a cooler time of year.

If you are looking for an ocean view, fresh air and sunshine...

If you are looking for an ocean view, fresh air and sunshine this is the place. Staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. The pool was beautiful with plenty of space to sit and take in the view. Our apartment was small but had plenty of room for two.

If you want a quiet place to stay this is for you a great...

If you want a quiet place to stay this is for you a great long beach surfing swimming fishing. There were enough shops to meet your needs and enough eating places to have a variety of food. A good base if you want to travel to tourist attractions in the Port Macquarie area. The bowling club had very tasty food, very friendly welcoming staff, the tavern was good friendly staff, the chinese food was good. Very easy town to navigate. A great place to relax and chill out, Lake Cathie is all about having a rest from the busyness of life.

Beaches and beautiful bays north and south, coastal walks, clean, BBQs and picnic tables in well maintained parks and reserves. Advise a car to get around Port Macquarie, main town 20 mins north, Diamond Head in NSW parks, Wauchope up mountains. Some takeaways and cafes, bakery, Woolworths for groceries. Plenty of fishing spots. Lake Cathie itself is small town, easy to walk around, great place for kids swimming in calmer waters at lake reserve. Something for everyone.

We were there for a family get together.

We were there for a family get together. Great house for this purpose. Short distance to beaches and shopping centre. Plenty of spaces for relaxation. Lots of lovely eating places near by. Garden Centre cafe at Bonny Hills does a great breakfast.

We wish we could have stayed longer! On arrival we were greeted by Matt who was so friendly and very informative. The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable. The apartment had everything you need for a short or long stay. I loved the decor. Had a great nights sleep in the comfy bed. Right across from the beach so to wake to the smell and sound of the ocean was a bonus for us. I highly recommend Saltwater apartments if ever you are in Lake Cathie! Thank you Ellen and Matt for having us stay. Such a peaceful place to be. We will be back!

Lovely place in a nice location. Very close to Lake Cathie beach (which was pretty much empty the whole time we were there), and shops etc. Great place to walk the dog (the location not the beach), and very quiet, especially if you're coming from a big city. We booked the whole place but didn't even go downstairs as no need. everything we needed was upstairs. Ample places to relax both at the front and rear of the property, and a nice welcome basket was provided.

The studio cabin was beautifully presented and really well organised to maximise space and comfort in what would qualify as a tiny home. One of those places that are so lovely that just being there feels like a holiday. Very very close to the Lake Cathie Tavern where we got an excellent dinner.

The Safari tent was perfect, warm, spacious, and luxurious. Beautiful views. Rock pools for the kids to explore. Bush walk to shelly beach was spectacular. The food at the Beach Hotel was tasty and great value.
