Patricia's Garden studio is a beautiful self-contained mud brick studio in an enclosed courtyard with a pretty cottage garden on a working farm. Unique country getaway for a couple with a comfortable king size bed with an electric blanket, large screen smart TV, wifi, kitchen and bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a DVD player with an extensive DVD collection, games, jigsaws and books. There is also a table tennis table and some lawn games including bocce and finska. The bathroom is adjacent to the studio and has a separate entrance. Please note that there may be frogs in the bathroom from time to time so please take this into consideration before you book. The studio used to be the art studio of well known local watercolour artist, Patricia Negus and is named for her. We accept well behaved dogs upon request. They must be house trained and kept off the furniture in the studio, and restrained near livestock at all times. There are many places to relax in the garden which has a frog pond with a fountain and many different species of birds including white breasted robins, honey eaters, red winged wrens and splendid wrens. There are several rocking chairs, two outdoor settings and a firepit next to the lawn which is a lovely place to unwind and watch the sun set on the marri trees in the evening. Both the courtyard and the patio area near the firepit have festoon lighting which provides a nice ambience.

My husband Matt and I live part time at the farm and may or may not be in residence during your stay. My brother Richard lives on the property and is the caretaker in our absence. There is another holiday rental on the property, Swallows Cottage that sleeps 7 guests. I have listed it for over ten years and enjoy share this beautiful part of the world with my guests.

Swallows Welcome farm is very well located for all the attractions in the Margaret River region. We are a short 14 minute, 6.5km drive from Margaret River and 9 minutes, 5.8km from Witchcliffe on mostly sealed roads. Margaret River is well known as a wine region with world class beaches and caves and beautiful countryside. We have terrific bird life, livestock , wild emus and kangaroos, a large lawn and beautiful gardens on the property.
