The old gardener’s cottage is part of the historical Merigan farm, situated in the homestead grounds. It is one large room with an ensuite. The garden includes a clay tennis court and bocce court, which is available for your use. The cottage is surrounded by oak trees and flower beds with garden views. There is a separate bathroom, with a shower and sink and toilet. The queen bed sleeps 2 people but there’s room for an additional mattress if needed. There is a fitted with a kitchenette (kitchen table, cook top, stove, microwave, small fridge, sink and extractor fan), There is a high speed Starlink Wi-Fi connection but no TV. The cottage boasts a fireplace, ideal for winter nights. The farm is large and is available to be utilised for hiking, picnics and by arrangement shooting and horse riding. Located 3 and half hours from Sydney, 45 minutes from Canberra’s centre, 15 minutes to Bungendore and close to Tarago and the artistic farming town of Braidwood. Merigan is a merino sheep and Angus cattle farm with several ST accommodations.
