Port Melbourne is an upscale coastal suburb set between the beach and the city. Cyclists follow the Bay Trail past Sandridge and Port Melbourne beaches, with views of kayakers on the bay. Bay Street has trendy cafes, updated old style pubs and fine dining, and historic hotels serving pub grub. Easy free street parking outside the cottage. Tram into the city a couple of blocks away as is cycling paths into the city and along the beach. Walk into the city or walk to the Casino around (15 minutes walking). Walk to the beach. Pick up one of the scooters or bikes via online app.
