We are Alastair and Taylor, and our little family can't wait to welcome you to the Restaway Holiday Units. Originally from Scotland and the Sunshine Coast, respectively, we have travelled the world but think this might be the best place on earth. We think our property showcases the natural beauty of the Alpine Region and provides everything you need to make lovely memories. Our ideal holiday involves plenty of nature, falling asleep in a comfy bed and waking up looking at the mountains with the birds singing: our place has all that and more. When we aren't on site, you can find us out on a walk with our baby boy, fuelled up with a brekkie burrito from the Rail Trail Cafe and a coffee from the Punkah Pantry.

Welcome to our small slice of mountain valley paradise. Set on a beautiful piece of land with epic, uninterrupted views of Mount Buffalo, The Restaway Holiday Units are your cosy home base for exploring everything the Victorian Alps has to offer. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is on our front door, the Ovens River is out the back, and Bright is a 7-minute drive up the road. Our units have 2 bedrooms, a lounge area with a flat-screen TV, a kitchen with dining area and a private bathroom. With units in a variety of configurations, your small group holiday or family trip is sorted. The kitchens are equipped with a cooktop and microwave oven as well as all the equipment you need to whip up a meal after a day exploring. But you might prefer to use one of the covered barbecues in out lush garden and eat dinner under the stars. Or grab a bottle of wine from our local Ringer Reef Winery and sit by the camp fire. We've also got a saltwater pool for cooling off and a games room to keep the kids (or your mates) occupied. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free on-site parking opposite each unit. All units have reverse cycle air-conditioning. Bed linen and towels are provided. Just bring yourselves and your sense of adventure and we will sort the rest.

Restaway Holiday Units is in a quiet but convenient spot along the Great Alpine Road. We're a short walk to Porepunkah, a quaint little town with a killer pub, some great cafes and a picturesque riverside. The famous restaurants and tree-lined streets of Bright are a 7-minute drive up the road (enough distance to escape the hustle and bustle that descends in the busy season). If cycling is your thing, you can join the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail across the road (and we have several bikes you can hire if you're not normally a cyclist but want to give it a crack). Ringer Reef Winery is across the road, serving up handcrafted premium wines. We are a 10-minute drive from Eurobin Falls (AKA fairy magic). We are a 20-minute drive from Mount Buffalo, which offers year-round adventure, an hour from Hotham, and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Falls Creek.
