Ready to escape the hustle and bustle and disconnect? Escape to Sally on Rees Cottage and take a deep breath of coastal air and unwind. Sally on Rees is a stand-alone lake style cottage, with a private master suite and comfy sofa bed for two additional guests. The cottage has modern amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a covered parking space. Relax in the coastal lifestyle under one of the two covered decks, one nestled in the tress and the other overlooking lake Macquarie. Please note: Construction of a new dwelling is ongoing next door, construction noise will be kept to a minimum between 7am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Hello I hope you love Sally on Rees as much as I do! I have been working on creating a private and relaxing getaway for about 1 year, giving furniture pieces a new lease on life, curating antique artwork and upgrading the cottage to ensure a unique and comfortable stay. If you have any questions at all about the cottage or about Wangi Wangi please feel free to reach out to me as I would love to help as best I can. I am a local myself and can be at the property in 2 minutes. I have been living in Wangi Wangi for 7 years, with my family having connections to Wangi as far back as 60 years.
Wangi Wangi is a small coastal town, with many sites to see and activities to complete such as, Cafe's, Art gallerys, Fishing, swimming and much more. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and peacful escape Wangi Wangi has it all. Wangi Wangi is located on a small peninsula so walking is an absolute must! Travel by car is recomended as the only public transport is the bus services which do not run frequently. I recomend looking up the Wangi bus timetable to plan your days.
