Tiny Tom- Hidden Beside The River Mersey Bright Spacious & welcoming. A Tiny Home with hidden treasures, private courtyard to BBQ, sunbath and enjoy solitude. Full size bathroom, decked out kitchen with laundry facilities & parking - all in a space used originally as storage facilities for the Torquay Post Office from 1893 to early 1900. Tiny Tom has had 2 transforming renovations in its time now its amazingly cool and surprisingly roomy. The river, beach, supermarket and boat terminal are all within walking distance
Hey Everyone, My wife Dianne and I grew up on the beautiful North West Coast and we love Tasmania with a passion. Like most people we moved away for work & play, travelling to over 70 countries between us. The relaxed family lifestyle and friends drew us back home to Tassie. Tiny Tom, Apartment ONE, 3ree & 5ive have become our new project. Offering accommodation with flair and imagination next to the Mersey River. Tiny Tom is only a short walk to local shops or bakeries. Enjoy a wine or two on the deck in the private courtyard. The Spirit of Tasmania Terminal is only a 5 minute walk. The eastern foreshore walk & bike ride pathway will introduce you to many interesting historical facts about Devonport. At low tide you can see the remains of the dredge G.Ward Cole that was wrecked at Shipwreck Beach on 29th October 1930 when stormy seas caused its mooring chains to break. It’s a great spot to view passing boats or ships entering the river.
