Our beautiful holiday home has an enviable top of the hill location in Labrador, offering panoramic coastal views, water glimpses and balmy sea breezes, yet is conveniently and centrally located just 2 blocks from the waterfront in a quiet, residential street....just north of Surfers Paradise. Our home is very private with a large garden and huge swimming pool and a lovely shady terrace where you can enjoy an evening cocktail and watch the kids splash in the pool. There is a gas BBQ here on the terrace for those casual meals. The house is very spacious and tastefully decorated with an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area, a large flat screen TV with a big selection of DVDs and Netflix. We have a fully equipped laundry and a spacious kitchen fitted with all the appliances, cookware and utensils that would please the most fastidious of cooks. Our home is air conditioned and the rooms have ceiling fans and flyscreens and 3 of our bedrooms have access to a large east facing balcony. Small breed dogs (under 10kg) are welcome upon written application to the owner. (max 2 pets)
Hubby and I are now retired and enjoy visiting our holiday home when it is not being used by guests. We love spending time pottering around the garden, relaxing by the pool, walking our dog along the scenic Broadwater Parklands area and trying to improve our golf handicap at one of the many beautiful golf courses in the area. Our back terrace is very large and because it is covered it offers protection from the sun & the rain and can be used for year round dining. This is our "outdoor living room" and where we love to sit and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view!
Labrador is located on the northern stretch of the Gold Coast - only 10 minutes drive from the busy, bustling Surfers Paradise resort area. Our suburb overlooks the scenic Southport Broadwater.... a haven for boating and water sports enthusiasts with its still, shallow, sheltered waters. The waterfront is just a short stroll down the street from our property and offers peaceful walking tracks, safe, sandy shallow beaches, childrens playgrounds and a wide variety of cafes and restaurants along Marine Parade. All types of aquatic sports are popular here including boating, fishing, windsurfing and parasailing. Charis Seafoods (best fish shop on the coast!), is located here and has always drawn crowds witnessing the daily feeding of the pelicans, so take your cameras! We are close to several shopping centres including the very popular HarbourTown discounted fashion retail outlet which is less than 5 minutes away. Chirn Park shopping village is even closer, with a variety of shops, cafes & restaurants. We are ideally located for the theme parks - about 10 minutes drive to Sea World and 10 minutes in the other direction to Movie World/Dreamworld or Wet'n'Wild.
