Welcome to Fleetwood – one of Surrey's most family-friendly and quietly connected neighborhoods. I've lived here for 15 years, and here's what I love about it. Parks & outdoors: Fleetwood Park – Just a 5-10 minute walk. Features beautiful display gardens, a 1.8km walking trail, a children's spray park (open May–September), and plenty of green space for picnics or playing with your dog. Tynehead Regional Park – A 5-8 minute drive. A hidden gem! This large park features salmon spawning channels, serene forests, wide walking and cycling trails, a dog off-leash area, and a hatchery. Perfect for a peaceful nature escape. Freedom Dog Park – A short drive away if your dog needs an off-leash run. Shopping & dining: Guildford Town Centre – 5 minutes by car. One of Surrey's largest malls with over 200 stores (Walmart, Winners, H&M, Sephora, Cineplex cinema, and a large food court). Local grocery stores – Save-On-Foods, FreshCo, and T&T Supermarket (Asian groceries) are all within a 3-5 minute drive. Restaurants – Everything from sushi and pizza to Indian and Chinese cuisine. Ask me for my personal favorites! Getting around: Highway 1 – 5 minutes away. Takes you to downtown Vancouver in about 25-30 minutes (no traffic). Transit – Bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk connect to Surrey Central Skytrain Station. From there, it's about 40 minutes to downtown Vancouver by train. Future SkyTrain extension – The new line along Fraser Highway is under construction, which will make transit even easier in the coming years.
